Only a short entry today but an important one as it might affect our corporation. There was an announcement made a couple of months ago by Upwell Consortium that they would start implementing changes to their structures. Aura link the article [NEOCOM - GALNET - UPWELL CONSORTIUM] Yesterday we saw the final stage of those changes in the form of quantum cores now being required to power certain functions of the structure. They are costly even to capsuleer standards but without one, a structure can still be operational. What it does mean is that quite a few services that we as pilots rely on will not be supported. This raises the question to leadership, not just to Charles or Edward, but to many CEOs that own structures. Do they carry on without; leaving the station vulnerable without the proper support to defend it? Or do they install a core and potentially make themselves a target to a corporation who would covet it? It's a dilemma I do not have enough experience to tackle.
